I teach healthcare providers who are unable to communicate directly with Spanish-speaking patients, feel ineffective in patient encounters and who don't have time to learn a language. Under my instruction in a flexible online setting, providers learn to speak and understand conversational Spanish, and intercultural healthcare concerns. With my health-centered language training grounded in everyday Spanish, providers can transform their relationship to Spanish-speaking patients and serve them confidently, compassionately and equitably. See Learn Spanish for more.

I am also trained as an interpreter and currently work as a language justice interpreter in a field called Community Interpreting. I do live simultaneous interpreting for community organization meetings, panels, workshops and conferences. See Interpreting & Translation for more.
