CONTACT ME

For five years I worked as a writing tutor at Ohio University's Student Writing Center. I worked with first year students up through doctoral candidates in all disciplines and in every step of the writing process, from brainstorming to final draft. My work entailed a variety of contexts: English assignments, college admission essays, dissertations, etc. I also worked as an editor for professors in the departments of Classics and World Religions, International Studies and English. At Lesley University, I worked as a research assistant for the Expressive Arts Therapies Field Office and for Boston's Poet Laureate, Professor Danielle Georges, in the Division of Creative Arts in Learning.

For the past ten years I have worked as a freelance editor and translator. As an editor, I have the unique ability to both capture mechanical errors and provide suggestions on structure, organization, flow and other higher order issues.
